Double Diamond Ranch, home to The Resort At Tanamera, is an 800-acre master planned community ideally located just off I-395 via either the South Meadows Parkway or Damonte Ranch parkway exits. It is one of the premier master planned communities in Reno, with quality, well amenitized neighborhoods by many of the area’s finest homebuilders.

Nature has been given her due at Double Diamond Ranch, with the careful preservation of 150 acres of preserved open space habitat and natural wetlands. There are 26 miles of pedestrian and bike pathways and a 2.5-acre lake nearby. Retail shopping and services can be found in and around the community, and a large sports park and many neighborhood parks are located throughout Double Diamond.

As an interesting historical note, the name for the community came from the first letters of the ranch’s last owner, Wilbur May, son of the May Company department stores’ founder. The logo for the ranch was created by imposing the first letters of his first (W) and last (M) name upon each other, thus forming two diamonds.
